Community Herbalism six-week class

** Please note: this is a six-part class series held Monday eveings from 6-9pm, March 12th through April 16th. April 23rd is reserved as a make-up day in case a class needs to be rescheuled. Registering here will sign you up for all six classes.
This class is intended for students who wish to understand the basics of community herbalsim (using easily-accessible plants within net
works of friends, families, and other community groups). We will cover basics of herbal energetics, actions, and organ affinities; histories of herbal care; plant identification and wildcrafting; basic medicine-making; and, of course, detailed information about using a variety of local plants. We will focus on plants that already grow here and those that are easily cultivated by the beginner gardener.
Class format includes lecture-style, outdoor plant walk, and hands-on medicine-making.
